UNIDENTIFIED WILEY"S - Sorry I can't remember who gave me this photo. I was told that the woman on the left was Rose Wiley and she was holding my dad Richard Wiley. The baby in the bottom right hand corner is Essie Hanna who was the daughter of Mixia Wiley. The photo on the left is a known picture of Mixia with sons Earl & Merle. I would say the other woman is defiantly Mixia . If anyone can identify any of these people please send me a email!
In trying to figure out the children in the above right photo, If the baby on Rose lap is my father Richard who was born in 1922 he had four older siblings who were Onie, Flora, Tressie and Marie. Onnie born 1914 would make her 7 or 8 years older than Richard. Marie born abt 1917 would make her 4 or 5 years older than Richard. Flora born about 1918 would be about 3 or 4 years older than Richard. And Tressie born abt 1920 would only be about 2 years older.
As for Mixia's children I have the twins Earl and Merle born abt 1919. Troy abt 1923. Rallph abt 1917. I don't have any dates for Haley or Morgan. Essie was born abt 1921.
